Bagels & Dharma is a program that reflects Shambhala's vision of enlightened community.  It combines meditation practice with a dharma talk, food, and conversation.

The traditional Buddhist teachings instruct us to contemplate "Death comes without warning; this body will be a corpse" every day. Does this suggest that Buddhism is a gloomy philosophy or, in fact, a life-affirming one? There are a number of ways to approach this contemplation. Let's talk about it!

Join us for meditation from 9:00 to 10:30 (optional), followed by the talk and discussion facilitated by Shambhala teacher Jude Robison from 10:30 to 11:30, and bagels, coffee, and conversation from 11:30 to 12:00.

This program is open to the public.

There is no fee to attend, but a donation of $5 is requested.
