The spiritual path is risky business. Can we trust what we're taught? Can we trust who's teaching? Can we trust ourselves?

The life story of the Kagyu Buddhist lineage holder Gampopa provides the context for considering the Shambhala Buddhist path and how that path is reflected in our own experience. The relationship between ourselves as "student" and another human being as "teacher" is essential to the path. We'll talk about what "student" and "teacher" mean, and how that relationship changes over time along with our realization and understanding.

Join us for meditation from 9 - 10:30  followed by the dharma talk from 10:30 to 11:15, and bagels, coffee, and conversation from 11:15 to 12:00.

This program is open to the public.

There is no fee to attend, but a donation of $2-$5 is requested.
