Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We’re in with Unexpected Resilience & Creative Power (online)
On line discussion, Sundays, 3:00 – 4:30 PM
Jan. 21, Feb. 4 & 18, March 10 & 31, April 7
The challenges we face today are enormous: climate change, war, political polarization, racism, and a planetary emergency of overwhelming proportions.
During these six meetings we will read and discuss Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We’re in with Unexpected Resilience and Creative Power, by Joanna Macy. This book shows us how to strengthen our capacity to respond to these crises with resilience and creative power. The authors guide us through a process called the Great Turning that gives us the tools to play our role in a transition to a life-sustaining society for our planet.
Please join this book group to explore together the work that reconnects us.
