Winter Meditation Retreat
with Alexander DeVaron & Marilia Marien
Meditation practice is a time-honored way to connect with our inherent compassion and clarity. Although these qualities are our true nature, they sometimes feel far from our experience.
By meditating, we can reconnect with these positive qualities, tapping into our natural bravery and resilience. Training in this way, we are better able to benefit ourselves, each other, and the planet. By turning inward we are better able to turn outward.
This year’s winter retreat will include:
- Guided and silent meditation practice
- Individual meditation instruction (on request)
- Mindful movement
- Study and practice of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness
- Contemplations for cultivating compassion
We invite you to take your seat in the midst of the holiday hurly burly and to come together to meditate, contemplate, and celebrate.
Come for the entire six days, a single day, or more.
This Winter Meditation Retreat is open to meditators of all levels of experience and all traditions.
