Bagels & Dharma is a program that reflects Shambhala's vision of enlightened community.  It combines meditation practice with a dharma talk, food, and conversation.

On this final day of the lunar year, we'll take a few minutes to contemplate the Noble Eight-Fold path, the fourth of the Four Noble truths. Shakyamuni Buddha taught the Noble Eight-fold path as a practical way of cleaning up our lives and liberating ourselves through our own effort and natural insight. We'll talk about how to live our lives in a complete and straightforward way, cleaning up negativity as we go and cultivating our own and other's best qualities.

Join us for meditation from 9:00 to 10:30 (optional), followed by a talk by Shambhala teacher Tom Berthoff from10:30 to 11:30, and bagels, coffee, and conversation from 11:30 to 12:00.

This program is open to the public.

There is no fee to attend, but a donation of $5 is requested.
