TRICK OR TREAT - The Realm of the Hungry Ghost

Hungry ghosts are beings always looking outside themselves for something to satisfy their insatiable craving within. This insatiable hunger causes extreme pain. In contrast, as we meditate we begin to appreciate what we have. We find that satisfaction is not wanting more. Instead of keeping eating, buying, and trying to gain, we can appreciate what we have.

Join us for meditation from 9:00 to 10:30 (optional), followed by the dharma talk on Hungry Ghosts by senior teacher Jean Plough from 10:30 to 11:30, and bagels, coffee, and conversation from 11:30 to 12:00.

This program is open to the public.

There is no fee to attend, but a donation of $2-$5 is requested.
