Inclusivity Group

March 27th

Date details +
    Room: Windhorse

The Inclusivity Group is open to all as a monthly gathering. You can start up and join in at any time. Here we will explore and discuss readings on mindful, inclusive communication and practice. We consider themes of inclusivity, diversity and intersectionality in the context of the Shambhala tradition. The group holds the Sakyong’s teachings on “enlightened society,” and "basic goodness," as primary motivating ideals.

Before each scheduled meeting, a few online, free web articles for perusal will be circulated via email and linked from this webpage. Sources include Lion’s Roar, Tricycle, Shambhala Times, and other popular press. This short reading is recommended before attendance (but not required). We will discuss the articles, and their possible linkages to our own experiences and practices, within and outside the Center. A few copies will be shared around the circle when we meet.
Suggested donation is $5; no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Please register online for planning purposes and communications. Your registration information will be kept confidential.
You can email Quinn Pellerito at quinnpellerito[AT]gmail[DOT]com with any questions.
