Beyond Enemies: Sacred Outlook and Social Transformation

Friday, April 6th, 7-9 pm

How can we most effectively meet our toughest social, cultural, environmental and political challenges with less rancor and divisiveness? To tap nondual wisdom and innate goodness shared across cultures, we’ll explore innovative approaches and skillful means for social change at the intersection of mindfulness, emotional intelligence and interpersonal neurobiology.

Note: This evening talk is included in the weekend program, but can also be registered for separately here.

Radical Responsibility: A Mindfulness-Based Emotional Intelligence (MBEI) Training for Personal & Social Transformation

Saturday, April 7th, 9 am-6 pm and Sunday, April 8th, 9 am-4 pm

We will learn mindfulness-based skills and tools for healing and transforming ourselves which we can also use to heal and transform our world, co-creating a more just, peaceful, enlightened and sustainable society. This intensive weekend will offer you the opportunity to deeply explore all the ways in which fear and survival-based habitual patterns undermine our individual and collective well-being and happiness, as well as the ways in which these patterns create widespread human and environmental trauma, undermining the social cohesion we need to thrive as a global society.

Acharya Fleet Maull, PhD is an author, senior Shambhala lineage Dharma teacher, and social activist working for peace & justice, prison reform and social transformation.  He is also a lineage holder in the Zen Peacemaker Order, a thought leader in the mainstream mindfulness movement, and founded Prison Mindfulness Institute.
