    One of the fundamental teachings of Buddhism is mindfulness of body. But what does that mean and how do we bring it into our practice and our daily lives? Our body is happening in the present moment, and is the source of awareness and compassion. Chogyam Trungpa says, "Mindfulness of body is connected with the earth. It is an openness that has a base, a foundation . . . a sense of being settled and of therefore being able to afford to open out." In this Bagels & Dharma we will explore ways of cultivating the wisdom of the body. 

    Join us for meditation from 9 - 10:30 (optional), followed by the dharma talk from 10:30 to 11:15, and bagels, coffee, and conversation from 11:15 to 12:00.

    This program is open to the public.

    There is no fee to attend, but a donation of $2-$5 is requested.
